Saint's are painted with the implement of their martyrdom and these boys are painted with emblems showing why I found them attractive. A paintbrush for one, a pencil for another. One holds an offering of food, another a romantic heart.

They are over-painted on a pastel portrait of a man who was my sweetheart back in the dawn of time. His emblem is the dancing bear in the background.
