This picture, like everything I did that year, is a series of images with writing, no doubt because I was coming off of decades of images drawn on a calender. One picture per day, an inch square, complete with writing. (See critics folder if you'd like to see a calendar page.)

This picture shows things I found especially pleasing. My daughters lolling around the house with their friends like happy puppies, a charming drawing of a chair by Vanessa Compton, the dogs, hot soup, and sleeping. Gregor refers to the great book, Insect Dreams, by Marc Estrin.
