"The Saint of the Sausage Sample" is a stand alone work OR is perfect as a central panel to complete the Dog Triptych.
Combined with the "Dog Diptych," (Dogs Running and Dogs Resting) shown in this folder, one sees dogs racing to the party on the left side. "The Saint of the Sausage Sample" is in the middle, and on the right, dogs are resting after eating too much sausage.
In this series, I'm playing with painting a changing story through ever shifting central panels in a triptych.
1. "The Dog Birthday," (shown in this folder)
2. "The Saint of the Sausage Sample"
3. "Calling the Dog," posted soon.
In the best of all worlds, all 5 are shown in a row, enclosed by "Dogs Running" and "Dogs Resting."
A quintych or is it polytychnic?
