Iron Oxide Paintings
Dozing my way through these coldest pandemic months, recalling how firmly Maybe the Dog opposed relaxation when it was time for play or a walk.
Also interested in a portrait whose face is not seen. This is based on my sister Carola, gone and much missed. I sharply remember her slender bird-boned body in repose as a sparrow hawk (here just out of view) perched in the tree over her when she rested. Her dogs, Tonka and Lola (here misrepresented as a yellow lab) barreled in to help me when Carola's lovely face became elusive and and I couldn't go on.
