A renal specialist at University of Vermont Medical Center drew a sketch with a blue marker on the exam table paper. His drawing encircled and enlarged a very small beret-like tumor worn by my left kidney. Around it he scribbled all the pertinent data about this unexpected but easily addressed problem and I took the paper home and included it in this painting.
So meet my Left Kidney. Now I'll return to painting trees and other pleasing subjects.
postscript-- the Renal Specialist bought the painting. Half price since he could hardly be charged the full price when a good portion of this work was his scribbling.
